W04 Entrepreneurial Journal – How Will You Measure Your Life?

By Getzels De Los Santos

This week I learned a lot from the videos and readings. One of my favorite ideas came from the video Do What You Love. It helped me understand that when you do something you really enjoy, you will do it better. That made me think about my own career and future. I want to build a business, but I don’t want to choose something just because it makes money. I want to choose something I love, so I can give my best.

Another thing that helped me was the idea of the “three circles.” What are you good at? What do you love to do? And what can people pay you to do? That was simple, but powerful. I never thought about all three together before. I think I’m good at working with technology and solving problems, and I really enjoy that. Now I want to find the best way to use those skills in a job or a business that supports my family.

The last big idea was that success isn’t about working long hours. It’s about making smart choices. I used to feel guilty when I wasn’t always busy. But now I understand that what matters most is using my time well—making good decisions, not just working more. That really helped me feel more peace.

This week made me think more about what really matters in life. I want to succeed, but I also want to be present with my family, serve others, and live with purpose. I’m looking forward to learning more about how to build a life I love, step by step.
